John specialises in Commercial & Business finance – he is married to Marina & has three sons & 3 young grandchildren.
Hobbies are :Travel , Golf , Fishing & Gardening & socialising.

Marina is John’s wife and joined the business when the youngest of their three sons started school. Prior to this she was a hospital manager in the NHS and has used this experience to manage The Mortgage Shop’s Administration & customer services department .
Marina particularly enjoys travel and walking in the countryside & spending time with their three young grandchildren.

Rob is John and Marina’s eldest son and has worked in the family business since leaving University. He has now over 15 years of experience in Financial Services specialising in Buy to Let Portfolios, Residential mortgages and Bridging Finance. Rob works extremely hard for his clients has been named in “The Times” vouched for top advisers in the UK list.
In his spare time Rob enjoys golf, sport and travel and where possibly tries to combine all three when his three young children allow him !

Christina has worked in financial services for over 35 years and has indeed been a member of the team at The Mortgage Shop since it was founded in 1991. She is the sister of the Practice Principle John Norris & is responsible for Mortgage & Protection advice.

I have enjoyed working in the financial services sector for over 40 years providing a trusted service to clients for Investments, retirement planning, protection and mortgages. I like to build long lasting relationships with my clients, with the emphasis on trust, respect and honesty. By utilising the strength of our proposition, underpinned by the Financial Conduct Authority framework, I can provide a clearly structured, tailored solution catering for individual client specific needs and objectives.
Married to Sue for 40 years we have four children and ten grandchildren, all living in the North West where we spend time relaxing in the outdoors.

Christopher joined the business in 1999 – he specialises in Residential mortgages & protection advice.

I began working within Financial Services in April 1984 (40 years next year), seems like yesterday.
I spent 15 years with Friends Provident before choosing to leave a large corporate institution for a Family Business, which is far more suited to my personality and the way I prefer to do business, I truly believe there is no substitute for a far more personal approach. That was almost 25 years ago.
I have 2 children, 6 step children and my partner and I have 7 grandchildren between us, the house rarely being quiet.
Hobbies are football, I am a season ticket holder at Wolves and run Blackpool Wolves Supporters Group. I also follow Blackpool which I have since moving here in 1974.
Music plays a huge part in my life, listening and going to concerts and if there is any spare time I like to cycle.

Christian is the youngest member of the family team joining in 2021 – Christian is already receiving excellent reviews from his clients & is currently providing Mortgage & Protection advice.
He enjoys Football ,Golf ,Travel & socialising.
